SOUTH CAROLINA
TROOPER DONATION

The SCTA, South Carolina Troopers Association, announced that the Jim Hudson Automotive Group of Columbia donated $25,000 to their organization. This is the largest donation in the history of the SCTA. The funds will be used to assist families of troopers who have been injured or given their lives in the line of duty. The gift was personally presented by Jim Hudson, owner of Jim Hudson Automotive, to the SCTA Director Mark Gosnell. The ceremony took place at Jim Hudson Lexus on Killian Road in Columbia. Patrol Colonel also attended the ceremony.  "On behalf of our fallen 51 trooper families and SCTA membership, we humbly thank Jim Hudson for being an outstanding community partner and for his support for law enforcement in South Carolina," said Mr. Gosnell. Jim Hudson stated that South Carolina Troopers represent the finest men and women South Carolina has, and that he couldn't be more honored to assist them in their mission of keeping everyone safe. The South Carolina Troopers Association is a professional non-profit organization that provides support and advocacy for state troopers in South Carolina.
